Spring 2012 registration is now open.  Registration Deadline is February 17, 2012
In consideration of our volunteers, registrations after this date will be accepted but cannot be guaranteed

Guide to divisions by age group:

  • Blastball - age 4 - born in 2007 or 2008
  • Initiation (T-Ball) - ages 5 and 6 - born in 2005 and 2006
  • Novice (Tadpole) - ages 7 and 8 - born in 2003 and 2004
  • Mosquito - ages 9 and 10 - born in 2001 and 2002
  • PeeWee - ages 11 and 12 - born in 1999 and 2000

Older players are able to play at our sister association Lambrick Park Baseball Association also located at Lambrick Park.
The Bantam division (for those born in 1996 and 1997) and the Midget division (for those born in 1993, 1994 and 1995) are tiered for better competition.

Assessments
Formal assessments at both the Pee Wee and Mosquito level are conducted in order to evenly balance our teams.

Pee Wee Assessments - Oak Bay Recreation Indoor Turf
  • Saturday February 11, 2012 7:30 am - 9:00 am
  • Saturday February 18, 2012 7:30 am - 9:00 am (for those that cannot make the 11th)

Mosquito Assessments - Oak Bay Recreation Indoor Turf
  • Saturday February 25, 2012 7:30 am - 9:00 am
  • Saturday March 3, 2012 7:30 am - 9:00 am (for those that cannot make the 25th)

We Support Kidsport™!

GHBA would like to notify parents about The KidSport™ Fund. The KidSport™ Fund is the charitable arm of Sport BC that is designed to remove the financial obstacles that prevent some children from playing sport. Grants to INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES are given to children whose families cannot afford sport registration fees and would otherwise not be able to participate in a season of sport.
